Excellent weather and temperature for cycling. A lot of fog on the motorway
but clear by the time we got there.
Did White's Level with the Black run, then back up to the top & down for
the new Energy section. It's really good: Starts with lots of table tops
and deep bermed corners before it gets narrow and twisty in the trees.
Unfortunately it ends with a spiteful climb to the end of the old fire road
section, ready to start the final two sections of Whites. It's also a lot
wetter & muddier than the rest of White's.
All in all now it makes White's Level an amazing ride.
We were all suffering with lack of fitness so a fairly slow circuit but
great to get out. Refuelled at the Drop Off with Mammoth potato omlette
with potatoes (don't ask), then headed home.
Bumped into kelvin & the BWA boys in the car park, I think they had been
doing Skyline.
